Hello and welcome to EAR DROPS, my name is Dan aka DJ Soulsmith.

I have created this blog to present my studio DJ sets online.
For everyone to easily download or stream my mixes... from friends, industry associates & venues, to, anyone really!

I like a broad cross section of music, I hope that the people who visit these pages find something of interest.

After 10 years’ DJ experience, Dan Soulsmith has learnt his trade by playing music to a far-reaching cross section of the Manchester community. His eclectic DJ sets are engineered to keep everyone feeling good.
Dan’s passion for great music recently secured him employment with his favourite record label, Goodooking, working by day as LTJ Bukem’s Press Agent. By night, Dan continues to bring his sounds to Manchester revellers, and is looking for new venues and audiences to delight.

Classic soul, disco, rare groove, jazz, latin, reggae, afrobeat, funk, hip hop & house music...

All fused with exclusive modern material.

Basically, engaging music with soul, where no two DJ sets are ever the same!
I am interested in finding weekly or monthly DJ residencies.

I am also looking to work with venues to promote events through Northern Groove Promotions.”
